Kostas

Konstantinos "Kostas" Bastas is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Elysian Travel Group, a private advisory firm dedicated to the design of bespoke journeys for an exceptionally discerning international clientele.

His path traces the full arc of great hospitality — from Manhattan's storied restaurant culture to the floor of the Ritz-Carlton, Central Park, and ultimately to the founding of a firm built on the conviction that travel, at its highest level, is among the most personal of luxuries. He holds a Master's Degree in Hospitality from New York University.

Widely regarded as one of the industry's foremost Greece specialists, Kostas has cultivated an extraordinary roster of clients — among them The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Greek Archdiocese of North America, and owners of professional sports franchises. He resides in Newport Beach, California, with his wife and two children.

Jorie Schneider-Smith

Jorie serves as Director of Operations and Lead Luxury Travel Advisor, working in close partnership with Founder and CEO Kostas Bastas to shape the firm's client experience and service standards. In her advisory capacity, she personally curates many of Elysian's most complex and high-touch journeys — from multi-destination itineraries and private villa stays to VIP access and concierge coordination.

As Director of Operations, she architects the systems and supplier relationships that allow the firm to deliver consistently at the highest level. Her sensibility was shaped by several years teaching in London following graduate study at the University of Wales. She holds a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is based in Chicago.

Based in Chicago, she brings a precise, nuanced sensibility to travel curation — one shaped by a background in marketing and an innate understanding of how the finest details define a client's experience.

Drawing on Elysian's global network of trusted partners and privileged access to the world's most distinguished properties, Jamie composes itineraries that anticipate her clients' preferences before they are expressed. Her instinct for travel was first cultivated during formative years exploring Europe — a spirit of curiosity and discernment that continues to inform her work today.

Zouba serves as Director of Supplier Relations for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa — a role that draws on his rare combination of cultural fluency, regional depth, and an instinct for what distinguishes a truly exceptional partner.

He personally cultivates and vets the hoteliers, villa owners, and on-the-ground specialists who together form Elysian's EMEA portfolio. Each relationship he brings to the firm must reflect not only the highest level of service, but a depth of character and authenticity aligned with the way Elysian's clients travel. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic and based along Tunisia's Mediterranean coast, Zouba believes true luxury lies in the precise alignment of place, experience, and individual.

Heidi supports the firm's advisory team in the design and execution of bespoke client journeys. She joins Elysian following a distinguished career in corporate and private event planning — a discipline in which precision, discretion, and unerring attention to detail are simply non-negotiable.

That foundation translates with quiet elegance into the world of luxury travel, where she brings the same disposition of careful listening and meticulous planning to every itinerary. A graduate of DePauw University, Heidi has lived across the United States and in Melbourne, Australia. She is based in the Chicago area, where she lives with her family.

Hela Haddad

Hela serves as a dedicated point of presence for clients throughout every stage of their journey with the firm — from initial engagement and pre-departure preparation to in-destination support and post-travel follow-up.

Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, she brings a rare linguistic range and cross-cultural fluency to every client interaction. Her professional foundation was shaped at Emirates Airline, where she developed an exacting understanding of luxury service standards and the expectations of a global, high-touch clientele. Based in Tunisia, Hela ensures that no client ever feels far from Elysian's care.
